Job Description
Montana Park, Pretoria
R15 000 – R20 000 per month
Duration: Permanent
Our client, a big player in the petrochemical industry, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative with a strong background in B2B sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business growth by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing technical solutions that add value to their operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical sales role.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential B2B customers across various industries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the right products are recommended and implemented.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
Achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Provide ongoing support and training to customers on product usage and maintenance.
Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
Report regularly on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to management.
