About the Role
Our client, a leader in the truck dealership industry, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Team Leader to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal certification, a Master Technician certificate from an OEM, and at least 5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician. Experience with FAW, Powerstar, and DAF is essential. This role requires strong leadership qualities and excellent conflict management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics, ensuring high-quality repairs and maintenance.
Diagnose, repair, and service diesel trucks efficiently.
Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure timely job completion.
Handle conflict resolution and maintain a positive team environment.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Attend to breakdowns and emergency repairs when necessary.
Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

Requirements:
Red Seal Certification – Diesel Mechanic.
Master Technician Certificate from an OEM (FAW, Powerstar, and DAF).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
Experience in a truck dealership environment is essential.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Proven leadership abilities and team management experience.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work overtime and attend to breakdowns when required.
