Your Mission:

Command the Narrative: Transform requests—whether from local tour operators, international agents, or direct consumers—into refined travel experiences by managing bookings for scheduled tours and transfers with precision.
Master the Art of Coordination: Take charge of a shared reservations mailbox and live chat, ensuring that every inquiry is promptly categorized, actioned, and imbued with the warmth and efficiency that travellers appreciate.
Navigate Complexity with Finesse: From quoting tours to understanding intricate financial and operational details (think Southern Africa routes, supplier negotiations, and tour profitability), you’ll be the expert who ensures every journey flows flawlessly.
Be a Proactive Problem-Solver: Whether it’s coordinating last-minute adjustments, handling cancellations and refunds, or ensuring all details are cross-checked and confirmed well in advance, your capability to anticipate challenges is what turns potential setbacks into smooth operations.
Deliver Excellence On the Ground: During tour operations, you’ll check in with tour guides, assist guests with any issues, and ensure that every aspect of the tour—from vehicle allocations to on-site guest support—is executed without a hitch.

You are more than a consultant. You’re a storyteller with a knack for logistics and a deep passion for travel. Your experience in group tour consulting has equipped you with the expertise to handle complex itineraries and the creativity to make travellers’ experiences truly exceptional.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in group tour consulting within the tour operating industry.
Excellent knowledge of regional attractions, routes, and logistical details in Southern Africa, combined with strong online systems proficiency.
Stellar communication—both written and verbal—that allows you to engage seamlessly with agents, suppliers, and customers. Superior organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail are essential.
A Matric/Grade 12 qualification, with additional Travel & Tourism credentials being advantageous.
