Job Description
Your Mission

Understand & Inspire:
o Assess each client's unique needs—from special interests and requirements to budget constraints—transforming their travel dreams into reality.
o Engage with clients and agents, ensuring every inquiry becomes part of a seamless, personalized travel plan.
Craft & Coordinate:
o Quote and secure all services with precision, handling reservations and documentation on Tourplan.
o Maintain constant communication with suppliers, agents, and tour guides, ensuring every detail meets exacting standards.
o Manage meet and greets, travel confirmations, and address inquiries swiftly, making sure nothing is left to chance.
Deliver Excellence:
o Respond promptly to written requests and provide clear, comprehensive confirmations.
o Navigate client complaints and emergencies with professionalism, ensuring travellers always feel cared for and confident in their journey.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Qualifications:
o A minimum of 4 years’ experience in FIT tailor-made tour consulting within the tour operating industry.
o Matric/Grade 12 is essential; a Travel & Tourism qualification is a definite plus.
o Preferably, you have hands-on experience with Tourplan and a deep understanding of South Africa’s vibrant geography.
Essential Competencies:
o Exceptional negotiation skills to secure the best rates and availability with suppliers.
o Superb knowledge of tourism industry trends, customer needs, and logistical sophistication.
o A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensuring every journey is flawlessly executed.
