Job Description

• identify and develop new business opportunities with retailers, supermarkets, wholesalers and distributors
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximise sales
• Conduct regular market visits to promote products, negotiate deals and monitor competitor activity
• Achieve and exceed sales target within assigned territories
• Provide excellent customer services and handle client inquires professionally
• Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and effective promotions
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecast, and customer feedback to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Key Performance Indicators
• Sales performance
o Achieve monthly set sales targets
o Increase in sales growth against previous months
o Number of new customers opened and supplied
o Repeat customer sales (percentage of sales from repeat customers)
o Average order value (average value of order per customer)
Compliance, Customer relationship & Market Expansions
o Customer retention rate (Percentage of customers continue to purchase over time)
o Customer satisfaction score ( feedback from customers concerning product and service)
o Market coverage (Number of stores, wholesalers visit over set period)
o Product success rate (number of products successfully place per customer)
o Win rate of new customers (number of new customers gain per quarter)
Operational Efficiency
o Call/visit per call cycle (number of customer visits) per week
o Responds time to customer queries
o Order fulfilment rate (percentage of orders delivered on time and in full)
o Stock availability &Management (Ensuring optimal stock levels in customers stores)
o Promotional campaign success (Sales increase during promotional activities)
Financial & Profitability
o Sales vs Budget Performance (Actual sales compared to budgeted sales)
o Discount &Return rate (percentage of sales impacted by discounts or returns)
o Debt days (time taken to collect payments from clients
