Providing financial support for various divisions and business units.
Salary Range: R10 000
Graduate placement opportunity for 6 months
Location: Stanger. Water and Waste-Water Industry

Main Duties include:
• Cost monitoring, reviews, cash flow and monthly reporting
• Production of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly cost controlling and
reporting cycle.
• Review the General Ledger reporting and processing of P&L items
• Monthly consolidation and related reporting
• Assist Business unit/s management with monthly closing, annual budget and
quarterly forecasts based on projects status
• Presentation of monthly financial results to relevant Manager/s.
• Take the lead with regards to financial control of the Business unit

Criteria:
• Degree / B. Tech Cost Accounting or Management Accounting essential
• 2 to 3 years experience preferably within a project accounting environment
• Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cash flow and cost
control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards financial and accounting system
• Ability to train users (project managers and cost controllers).
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements
and projections.
• Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting,
rolling budgets, monthly closing and project profitability analysis.
• High level of technical efficiency & strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
