Position Overview:

As the Senior Signage Installer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of a wide range of signage solutions including vinyl applications, 3D lettering, lightboxes, vehicle branding, window graphics, outdoor signage, and large format print installations. You will work across various commercial and retail projects, managing junior installers, liaising with clients on-site, and ensuring every job is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

This role requires someone with excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative. You’ll be trusted to lead from the front, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Signage Installation & Fabrication

•Install a wide variety of signage types, including indoor, outdoor, illuminated, and non-illuminated signage.

•Ensure all signage installations are aligned with project specifications and safety regulations.

•Conduct site assessments and plan layouts for optimal sign placement.

Project & Site Management

•Supervise installation teams and assign daily tasks for smooth workflow.

•Act as the on-site lead during installations, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.

•Collaborate with project managers and designers to review installation plans and make recommendations when needed.

Quality Control & Maintenance

•Perform quality checks before, during, and after installation to ensure durability and aesthetic integrity.

•Inspect materials for defects and maintain tools and equipment.

•Implement best practices in alignment, spacing, and securing signage structures.

Client Communication & Support

•Engage with clients professionally while on-site and provide expert advice when required.

•Address client queries and resolve installation challenges with efficiency and tact.

Health & Safety Compliance

•Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations during installation procedures.

•Ensure safe working conditions on scaffolding, ladders, and elevated platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

•5+ years experience in signage installation (vinyl, 3D lettering, fabricated signage, large format prints, and vehicle wraps).

•Strong understanding of signage materials, adhesives, tools, and finishing methods.

•Experience working with power tools, ladders, cherry pickers, and scaffolding.

•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.

•Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on, problem-solving ability.

•Leadership and team management experience in a workshop or field-based signage environment.

•Driver’s License (Code 8 or 10) and clean driving record.

•Must be comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.
