Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality in our denim apparel production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of denim manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished garments to identify and resolve any defects, ensuring that our products meet customer expectations and company standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience (3-5 years) in quality assurance within the denim apparel industry.
Strong understanding of denim manufacturing processes, materials, and garment construction.
Excellent knowledge of quality control methodologies and inspection techniques.
Keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Ability to identify and analyze defects effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials (fabric, trims, etc.) upon arrival to ensure they meet specifications.
Monitor and inspect the denim garment production process at various stages, including cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing.
Identify and document any defects, deviations from specifications, or quality issues.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Perform final inspections of finished garments to ensure they meet all quality standards, including fit, construction, and appearance.
Maintain accurate and detailed quality control records and reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Communicate quality issues and findings to relevant departments (e.g., production, design).
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
