NOW HIRING: Automation Technician – KUKA Robots, Beckhoff & Siemens PLC
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Salary: R25 000 – R35 000 (Based on Experience)

Scholtz Partners International is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced automated systems, including PLCs, robotics, and sensors. You’ll play a key role in optimizing system performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems

Ensure optimal system efficiency and safety

Minimize downtime through proactive fault-finding

Interpret and work from electrical drawings

Travel to client sites when required (including up to 3 months abroad)

Requirements:
- Proficiency in various programming languages
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical and electrical installation knowledge
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel and work overtime
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- PLC and robot programming experience (automotive industry preferred)
- Familiarity with:

KUKA Robots

Beckhoff

Siemens PLCs
