Job Title: Remote Legal Secretary
Location: Remote (U.S. Hours)

We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Legal Secretary to join our team and support our attorneys in providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Support & Case Management

Draft, edit, and file pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and settlement demands

Assist with trial preparation including exhibits, witness lists, and timelines

Conduct legal research and provide summaries for attorney review

E-file legal documents in state and federal courts

Client Communication & Support

Serve as a point of contact between attorneys and clients

Schedule and confirm appointments, depositions, and court dates

Keep clients informed of case progress and key deadlines

Administrative Duties

Organize and maintain digital case files

Manage attorney calendars and docket deadlines

Respond to client inquiries via phone and email professionally and promptly

Process intake forms, gather documentation, and input data into case management systems

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal secretary

In-depth understanding of litigation processes and legal terminology

Proficient with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, Filevine, or similar)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Remote Work Requirements:

Must have a dedicated home office setup

Reliable high-speed internet connection

Backup power source to maintain consistent productivity during outages
