General Worker/Driver

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory procedures
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, as the role requires standing, lifting, and manual labour
Ability to operate a Forklift.

Key Responsibilities:
Driving: Safely operating company vehicles, adhering to traffic laws, and company policies.
Loading/Unloading: Assisting with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are secured properly.
General Labor: Performing various tasks like cleaning, stocking shelves, or assisting with other departmental needs.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment based on client and operational requirements.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Stock count and record keeping
Maintain records of stock levels and report any shortages or excesses to supervisors.
Ensure orders are correctly processed and prepared for dispatch in a timely manner.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of machinery.
Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Collaborate with other warehouse team members and departments to meet performance and quality targets.
Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to customers, if applicable.
Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures, both on and off the road.
