Job Description

Location: Johannesburg, Boksburg.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced IT candidate to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and storing data using computers, software, databases, networks, servers and provide technical support.
Duties And Responsibilities: (But not limited to)
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology/systems
• Replacing damaged hardware and software components
Requirements
• High school certificate or equivalent.
• At least 1—2 years working experience in a similar field.
• Driver’s license is advantageous.
Skills
• Interpersonal Skills- ability to communicate with various departments.
• Attentive to detail and knowledge of best practices, including network security.
• Data analysis and problem solving-abilities
• Excellent multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Risk analysis- ability to analyze network issues that could potentially affect the business.
