Job Description
Project Manager (DSD Compliance)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the organization's projects, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with Department of Social Development (DSD) policies and regulations.
The successful candidate will manage project activities, staff payroll, DSD compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgets, and delivery of quality outputs.
DSD Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with DSD policies, regulations, and reporting obligations.
• Monitor and maintain compliance standards as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Manage and process staff payroll accurately and timeously.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate project reports in line with DSD requirements and organizational policies.
• Ensure proper record-keeping and audit-ready documentation. Stakeholder Management
• Liaise effectively with DSD officials, donors, beneficiaries, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth organizational operations.
REQUIREMENTS
• Understanding of DSD compliance requirements, reporting frameworks, and regulations.
• 1-2 years' project management experience, preferably within the NGO/NPO sector.
• Experience managing budgets and staff payroll processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Prior experience managing DSD-funded projects and compliance processes will be advantageous.
