An established restaurant located in Morningside, Johannesburg, is in search of an Executive Chef to join the team and to assist with a rebranding project. The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of modern culinary trends and at least 10 years of experience in senior chef positions. Preference will be given to applicants who previously have been involved in new restaurant openings. A robust knowledge of menu planning and food development is crucial. The primary responsibilities will include aiding in the rebranding process and menu creation. Candidates should also have experience in implementing kitchen control systems and managing food costs. The client seeks someone with a solid foundation in general restaurant management and a strong passion for culinary arts.
