Job Description

Role Description:
• Responsible for ensuring stable operation, maintenance and optimization of the Induction Furnaces. Furthermore, inspect and maintain the Induction Furnaces, VIPs, Drives in a safe manner for both plants within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure stable operation, maintenance and optimization of the induction furnaces and efficiency.
• To inspect and ensure that the allocated shop floor area machines comply with 5s standards.
• Management of contractors and sub-contractors.
• To plan and ensure maintenance of Induction Furnaces, IF, VIPs, special drives, Mechanical and Electrical.
• To review weekly Maintenance forecast for responsible areas and ensure availability of materials.
• To ensure quality of all maintenance complies with specifications and standards.
• Utilize energy effectively in process and assist production with achieving it.
• Ensure that SHEQ regulations and procedures for responsible areas are adhered to.

Qualifications:
• Trade Test Certificate - Millwright (essential).
• Diploma - Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Advantageous).

Experience, Personal Attributes, Skills, And Knowledge:
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Induction Furnace and VIPs (Essential).
• Thorough knowledge of drives, PLC, ASI, ethernet network and Induction heating machine.
• Must be computer literate and have strong background in SAP system.
• Report Writing skills
• Supervisory skills – capable of overseeing, leading and directing a team

• Interpersonal skills – The Ability to deal with a wide spectrum of people and cultures.
• Communication – The Ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
