Job Description
The purpose of a bed maker is to create comfortable and attractive beds for guests in hotels, resorts, and other hospitality settings. This includes making beds with clean sheets and bedding, arranging pillows, and ensuring all bedding is properly placed and tucked in. Bed makers may also be responsible for cleaning curtains, carpets, and other linens in the room. Additionally, bed makers may be responsible for making sure all room fixtures are in working order, such as lamps and lights.
Bed Maker Duties
Construct beds according to customer specifications
Inspect and measure bed frames and components
Assemble bed frames and components
Install bedding components such as slats and mattress supports
Test beds for stability and comfort
Perform minor repairs and maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized work area
