Job Description
Mid-level Goods & Receiving Clerk
Location: Pretoria East
Salary: R11,500 (CTC)
Purpose of the Role
To manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming goods, ensuring stock accuracy, proper storage, and compliance with company procedures
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, check, and verify incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and damage; report discrepancies immediately.
• Accurately capture stock into the inventory management system.
• Ensure correct labelling, storage, and organization of received goods.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
• Maintain a clean and safe receiving area.
• Assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
• Complete required documentation (GRNs, delivery notes, etc.).
• Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards at all times.
Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
• At least 2–4 years’ experience in goods receiving, warehousing, or stock control.
• Strong administrative and data capturing skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory software experience advantageous).
• Good communication skills in English (Afrikaans beneficial).
• Physically fit to handle stock where necessary.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
