Job Description
Our client, based in Cape Town is in search of a Key Account Administrator to join their dynamic team. They are a prominent Logistics Company that operates Nationwide.
Key responsibilities:
• Build and nature log-term relationships with Key clients.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Direct and oversee all operational aspects including warehousing, distribution, customer service and administration
• Escalation of the above items to the DC Manger
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Warehouse, Transport, Clearing & Forwarding) to deliver customized solutions.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Monitor account performance, including KPIs and client satisfaction levels.
• Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
• To ensure daily activity stats are reported to client.
• Maintain relationship with current clients at Senior Management level. Feedback to client through monthly Review / Progress session.
• Support DC Manager & Operations Manager to Build and execute a plan to maintain, fix or grow business depending on the status.
• Ensure current contract status and next steps are clearly communicated to the DC Manager.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Value Add Services to ensure operational excellence both in the admin office and shop floor.
• Manages and supervises department employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
• Maintain customer service and satisfaction.
• Manage crisis situations by taking charge and obtaining necessary resource support.
• Assist Ops Manager with stock take ensuring correct process and procedures are being followed.
