Divisional Financial Accountant-Namibia(Windhoek)

Well established and Growing Wholesale & Retail Paint company is looking for a Divisional Financial Accountant, at their head office in Windhoek, Namibia.

Key Performance Areas
• Preparation & Reporting of Income & Financial Statement variances
• Managing Debtors & Creditors Function/Staff
• Preparation & Authorization of payments (e.g. Commission, Supplies, etc.)
• Coordinate and Supervise General Procurement and Logistic function/processes
• Preparation of General Ledger Recons & Schedules
• Managing Company Asset Register

Key Job Requirements
• National 3-year Tertiary Financial Accounting Qualification (Minimum a BCom/Bachelor’s degree)
• Minimum 3-6 Years Proven Retail related Financial Accounting Management/Supervisory Experience in a Wholesale & Retail Environment (highly recommendable)
• CICA or SIMA Accreditation Recommendable
• Management & Leadership growth potential
• Computer literacy w.r.t POS systems (e.g. IQ)
• Excellent Communication Skills (English & Afrikaans)
