Job Description
Our client, a dynamic infrastructure and service delivery company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Agent to join its project teams across multiple locations.
This role is central to the successful execution of construction and municipal service delivery projects, ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in alignment with project specifications, timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are executed according to project specifications, programme and budget.
• Liaise with the Employer’s Agent for site instructions and requests.
• Supervise site staff, subcontractors and SMMEs.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations.
• Attend site meetings and audits.
• Complete daily site diaries and compile monthly reports.
• Submit monthly payment certificates and productivity reports.
• Promote community-based development and skills transfer.
Minimum Requirements
• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• At least 2 years’ experience in water and sewer-related projects.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, planning and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and reporting.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools.
