Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Local SEO Specialist to join our team. As a Local SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimising our clients' online presence and driving local organic search traffic. You will be responsible for implementing effective local SEO strategies, managing local business listings, and ensuring high visibility in local search results.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify local search opportunities.
Develop and implement local SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic for our clients.
Optimise local business listings, including Google My Business, Bing Places, and other relevant directories, to enhance online visibility.
Perform on-page optimisation, including meta tags, schema markup, and content optimisation, to improve local search performance.
Collaborate with content creators and web developers to optimise website content for local search relevance and user experience.
Monitor local search rankings, website traffic, and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
Stay updated on local search trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continuously enhance local SEO strategies.
Provide insightful reports and analysis on local SEO performance, highlighting key metrics and actionable recommendations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in local SEO optimization and managing local business listings.
Deep understanding of local search ranking factors, including Google My Business optimisation, NAP consistency, citations, and reviews.
Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar.
Solid knowledge of on-page and technical SEO, including HTML, CSS, website structure, and canonicalisation.
Familiarity with local keyword research tools and strategies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex SEO concepts to clients and team members.
Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing SEO trends and algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
