Job Description

The applicant must have a trade qualification; a valid driver’s license and minimum of 5 years auto electrical experience (light and heavy commercial vehicles) with references are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose, repair and test on light and heavy duty vehicles:
 Trailer Plugs
 Parallel switches
 Electronic ignition systems
 Pre-heating starting devices/globe plugs
 Starting, charging & battery current draw
 Electronic cold starting devices
 Test, service, repair and adjust the following: cut outs, regulators, solenoid switches, panel instruments, circuits, switches, lamps, horns, heater fan, relays, rheostats, indicators, windshield wiper motors, electric fuel pump and transmission controls & alternators and their regulators

ATTRIBUTES:
Self-starting, Highly motivated individual
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be willing and confident to work on breakdowns / service

MINUMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 – 10 years - Auto Electrician
