Job Description
• Maintain and manage company fleet including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Consumables ordering and control.
• Plan, manage and evaluate all logistics operations.
• Leading and managing staff within the DC.
• Co-ordinate and handle the dispatch of goods.
• Plan the daily routes of all delivery vehicles.
• Ensure the timely loading of vehicles according to planned routes.
• Ensure that all products are double-checked for deviations from quality
standards before loading.
• Handle and resolve store queries.
• Manage the documentation and allocation of all products returned from
stores.
• Take all measures possible to prevent stock losses or theft of company property.
• Check and inspect all trucks for damages, cleanliness and maintenance.
• Manage completion of daily trip sheets.
• Ensure that all vehicles are serviced within specified schedules.
• Management of company vehicle and driver license renewals.
• Monitor vehicle movement on a continuous basis during the day and address
deviations.
Qualification & Experience
• Grade 12
• Must have 3 Years of experience in the same or similar role/FMCG.
• Own transport and a valid drivers' license
