Junior Xero/Dext Accountant

Applicants MUST RESIDE in the NORTHERN SUBURBS of CAPE TOWN!
MUST be able to converse in Afrikaans and English.

We have a position available for a Junior Accountant with relevant tertiary.
Experience within the hospitality industry would be highly advantageous.

DUTIES / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Accurate processing of Supplier invoices on Dext.
Preparing supplier accounts for payments, supplier reconciliation on Dext & Xero.
Completing the bank reconciliation on Xero.
Liaising with Suppliers and service providers regarding information required for processing.
Loading payments on ABSA Business Integrator.
Participate in day-to-day operational activities in the admin, finance and hotel departments.
Process all leave forms on Sage and summaries for HR Manager.
Process Casual workers’ pay slips and load for payment

REQUIREMENTS
Relevant tertiary qualification (Accounting)
2 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting focused role.
Good computer software skills (MS Office, Xero, Sage Payroll and Dext)
High sense of responsibility, problem-solving and good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Transparency and accuracy when recording/capturing of information is important.
Have own reliable transport to and from the workplace in Durbanville

BENEFITS
Salary is based on experience, qualifications and current package
R15 000 - R20 000 + 15 Commission on Sales.
