Job Description
As an Architect, You will have the opportunity to plan, design and/or facilitate the execution of building designs according to the ]needs, desires and financial resources. Candidates must be outgoing, independent, detail-oriented and passionate about design.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, through consultation, requirements, approximate budget, timetable and possible needs for future expansion
• Determine the preferences regarding materials, styles, colors and other variables
• Assist in defining the priorities and vision by preparing preliminary sketches of options
• Prepare and present designs, specifications, estimated costs, and proposed construction schedule
• Create detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations
• Modify new or existing plans as required
• Collaborate with clients to select and award construction contracts
• Collaborate with general contractor and clients to facilitate the building process to meet the specifications
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Revit, BIM and other architectural programs.
• Familiarity with design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant code, regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and consultation skills.
• A track record of successful team leadership and talent development.
