Job Description
• Any maritime or stowaway prevention experience a must.
• PSIRA registered.
• Excellent command of English language both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Very good understanding of cargo vessels, their operations and maritime security operations.
• Proactive, self-motivated, effective, well organized and with problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to observe details, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong capabilities in close monitoring, report compilation, organizing tasks, and efficient record keeping.
• Computer literate, with excellent knowledge and working abilities in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
• Proven and adequate work experience.
• Relevant Training and minimum 1 year of experience in Maritime Security.
Job Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Surveillance security systems.
• Promptly report any Safety, Security, or technical matters and create corresponding tickets.
• Efficiently perform and coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and effective manner, following the instructions of the Senior Operator and / or Supervisor.
• Conduct a comprehensive and thorough handover prior to the commencement of each shift.
• Aid in the training of new and existing personnel, following the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.
• Provide assistance and support to the department as directed by the Operations Supervisor.
• Assist in investigations as instructed.
• Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the prescribed actions to be taken in the event of an incident, following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
