Job Description:
Daily cash book processing, reconciling and allocation.
Raising of Sales Ledger Invoices.
Debtors’ management – receipt allocation, reconciliation, follow-up.
Suppliers’ management – reconciliation, query resolution, recordkeeping, payment preparation
Accounting to balance sheet
Full payroll administration and processing
Department of Labor return of earnings submission.
Other statutory functions
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
Experience with payroll software, such as Simple Pay or Sage VIP, is beneficial.
Thorough understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and statutory regulations.
At least a BCom degree with a major in accounting and registration with SAIPA or SAICA.
