Job Description
Channel Partner Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, which may include distributors, retailers, resellers, VARs (Value-Added Resellers), or other types of partners.
Channel Strategy Development: Creating and executing channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels.
Partner Recruitment: Identifying and recruiting new channel partners that align with the company's strategic goals and market focus.
Training and Enablement: Providing training, support, and resources to channel partners to help them effectively sell and support the company's products or services.
Sales Planning and Forecasting: Collaborating with channel partners to develop sales plans and set achievable sales targets. Forecasting sales volumes and revenue projections based on market trends and historical data.
Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and evaluating the performance of channel partners against agreed-upon metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Taking corrective actions or providing guidance to improve performance when necessary.
Marketing and Promotion: Coordinating with marketing teams to develop channel-specific marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns to drive demand and generate leads through channel partners.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiating agreements, contracts, and terms with channel partners to ensure mutual benefit and adherence to company policies.
Market Analysis: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for expansion or improvement within the channel sales network.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with internal sales, marketing, product management, and finance teams to align channel strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
Customer Relationship Management: Supporting channel partners in managing customer relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Budget Management: Managing the channel sales budget, including incentive programs, co-op funds, and other financial resources allocated to channel partners.
