Quality Manager - Manufacturing (Urgent)

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

 Matric / Equivalent

 Diploma/Degree (Management or Quality Management)

 Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

 Bilingual (English and Afrikaans.)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Designing and implementing the framework and methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and

production equipment

 Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards

 Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data

 Managing the quality team

 Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods

 Tracking products through the manufacturing process to ensure that each part of the process is

correct

 Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry

and company standards

 Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems

 Manage the quality and auditing-process and reporting

 Own weekly calibration sessions to ensure consistency

 Compile and distribute quality reporting in a standard format

 Drive requirements for technical quality and auditing solutions

 Provide clear insight into performance drivers

 Liaise with Operations on coaching and areas for improvement

 Prepare reports and analysis, including relevant analyses versus prior periods and forecasts and

associated risks/opportunities.

 Preparing a weekly/monthly report to management summarizing site Quality activities, concerns,

and project Quality statistics for the period.

 Drive the development of robust quality improvement coaching and training processes to drive

continuous improvement.
