Job Description
Providing excellent customer service to clients, and performing all activities associated with selling, stocking and ordering merchandise. The incumbent is target driven in order to reach maximum sales.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
• Store target and personal target.
• UPI (Unit Per Transaction).
• Conversion rate.
• Compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service (FERRARI experience).
• Visual appeal / Merchandising of store.
KEY TASKS:
• Shop / Store Maintenance:
o Participate in the day-to-day running of the store.
o Ensure the store and displays are clean and tidy at all times.
o Receiving deliveries, unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock on manager’s instruction.
o Replenishing shelves.
o Assist with regular stock checks and stock takes.
o Assist in changing displays of shop stock.
o Being vigilant at all times and help minimize stock loss.
• Sales / Transactions:
o Operating the till and accurately handling cash/card transactions under manager’s supervision or instruction.
o Assist with cashing up procedures.
o Meeting sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Customer Service:
o Assisting customers with locating merchandise, offering advice, answering queries or concerns.
o Keeping up to date with product knowledge.
o Informing the public of any sales or new stock.
o Constantly update customer base.
• General:
o Opening and closing of the store.
o Refer any issues regarding customer care to the store manager.
o Housekeeping.
o Adhere to Health and Safety practices/codes.
o Adhere to company policies and procedures.
o Any adhoc duties as required from time to time.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Experience:
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail assistant management.
• Knowledge:
o Matric.
o Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
• Skills:
o Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
o Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
o High level of organisation.
o Good teamwork skills.
o Computer literate.
• Ability:
o Target driven.
o Self-motivated.
o Adaptability.
o Stress management.
