• Actively seek and secure new global business within designated markets
• Meet divisional sales targets and boost revenue effectively
Responsibilities
STRATEGY
• Implement the company's sales strategy in line with the business plan
• Identify opportunities to enhance market presence and retain existing customers
• Develop and execute strategies for potential new clients
• Prioritize and plan sales projects and initiatives accordingly
• Stay updated on industry changes and adjust strategies as needed
CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS
• Ensure client needs are met and top-notch service delivery is maintained
• Assist in providing competitive prices and product offerings to clients
• Collaborate with operations and contracting teams on client requirements
• Innovate and review products offered to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in designated markets
• Follow up with clients and leads
BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
• Keep all business units informed about sales activities and accomplishments
ADMINISTRATION
• Understand and follow all divisional procedures and policies
• Submit reports promptly and meet deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality of company intellectual property
• Prepare and manage sales budgets
SALES TARGETS
• Acquire new business opportunities
• Generate leads from existing and new clients in designated markets
• Track client achievements and turnover compared to previous performance
• Continuously follow up with clients regarding current and future business
• Collaborate on tenders, proposals, and presentations to secure new business
• Present the company's brand professionally and protect branding integrity
DATABASE
• Manage, update, and develop the database regularly
TEAM WORK
• Be flexible to support colleagues outside regular office hours, if needed
• May require traveling with groups or clients
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
• Stay updated on industry trends
• Attend exhibitions and trade shows as necessary
• Develop personal knowledge on destinations and products
• Actively seek new products and creative ideas
Requirements
Qualifications and Expertise
• Matric / Grade 12
• Strong knowledge of South African and Regional geography
• Proficient in logistics
• Experience in selling services
• Demonstrated success in expanding market presence and acquiring new clients
