Job Description

Job Objective:
• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the Store.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Plan and layout merchandising to manage the customer traffic flow to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and brand image.
• Drive company vision and values.
• Manage day today human resource administration including, payroll submissions, leave, hours of work and rostering of staff.
• Maintenance of stock levels.
• Responsible for all banking functions related to the store including making bank deposits etc.
• Optimize the store's profitability by providing daily operational and sales support to achieve customer service and business growth objectives.
• Ensure customer requests and complaints are addressed timeously.
• Adhere to the Cosmix Beauty merchandising standards.
• Adhere to all labelling, pricing and layout standards.
• Design effective strategies to maintain inventory levels at all times and manage all work according to store policies and procedures.
• Manage and ensure regular ordering of stock and maintain correct stock levels.
• Oversee the management of store shrinkage, stock flow to the floor and consumables expense.
• Conduct the investigation of negative GP values in the store and take appropriate actions to identify and rectify controllable errors.
• Cash Office and Point of Sale Operations.
• Manage the store cash resources, daily takings and banking in compliance with company operating procedures.
• Control overtime.
• Declare all variances in your cash up report.
Minimum requirements Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 5 years retail experience with 2 years supervisory/management experience
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Clear credit and criminal records
