Your know-how will be valued in the following areas:
• Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the South African market. This includes market research, networking, and leveraging industry events to generate high-quality leads. We’re looking for the Sherlock Holmes of sales.
• Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities and effectively managing the sales process.
• Sales Presentations and Proposals: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Negotiate contracts to secure profitable business.
• Client Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients, focusing on delivering exceptional service.
• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
• CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, maintain client relationships, and generate insightful reports.
• Sales Performance: Consistently exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
Your Qualifications:
• Matric certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the airfreight industry
• Proven track record of business development within a multinational logistics company
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's or Master's degree) preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle
