Our Client is looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Private Market Analyst to support their investment strategies on a consultancy basis. This flexible role focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and performing financial analyses in the private markets, particularly within the online education and property sectors. The ideal candidate will provide actionable insights to guide investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities in private markets across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prepare detailed financial analyses and create sophisticated financial models for investment evaluation.
Support the strategic assessment of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration planning.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop recommendations on capital raising, debt structuring, and long-term strategic direction.
Analyze data to forecast trends, supporting business decision-making in emerging markets.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, market research, or investment banking.
Expertise in private market analysis with a focus on emerging markets.
Preferred:
Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA).
Background in the online education and property sectors.
Skills:
