Printing Press Operator

The Printing Press Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring a variety of printing press machines to produce printed materials. The Operator must be able to troubleshoot and adjust machines when necessary to ensure a quality product. The Printing Press Operator is also responsible for inspecting printed materials for accuracy and making any necessary adjustments. The Operator must ensure that the printing press machines are running efficiently and safely.

Printing Press Operator Duties
Set up and operate a printing press to produce books, magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, packaging, and other printed materials
Adjust settings on press to ensure proper ink coverage and alignment of images
Inspect printing plates and cylinders to ensure a high-quality printed image
Maintain and monitor printing press to ensure efficient operation
