Job Description

POSITION: Senior Broker
LOCATION: Port Elizabeth
REPORTING TO: Broker Manager
Purpose of the Role:
As a Senior Broker, you’ll be at the heart of our business, selling rare coins, Krugerrands, medallions, silver and platinum. You’ll leverage your expertise, passion for customer relationships, and our company resources to drive sales and exceed your goals. There is no travel requirement, most of the work is done in-store.
WORKING HOURS: Shifts (depending on store closing hours)
Weekday shifts: 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM; 12.00PM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM
Weekends (every second weekend): 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM.
What our client offers:
• Annual Salary: Market related
New Appointees

• Will earn 1.5% commission if they make minimum thresholds specified in contract. Minimum thresholds build up to the required threshold for the position.
• Will earn 4.5% commission if they make the exceptional commission threshold per position; namely, R300,000 rare monthly sales.
You will have 6 months to reach the position's normal threshold.

• Promotional Opportunities:
o Achieve R250,000 sales/month over six months
• Commission Structure:
o 1.5% commission upon reaching minimum sales targets.
o 4.5% commission if you exceed the R300,000 rare monthly sales threshold.

All deductions are made from the employee's CTC towards the funds/schemes. 80% of the CTC (defined as pensionable salary) is used to make the deductions. The balance of the money after deductions is referred to as the cash component. Group Life and the Retirement Fund membership is compulsory.
There is no company contribution to these schemes because the package is CTC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Excellence
• Achieve a minimum sales target of R250,000/month in rare coins and medallions (failure to meet this target may result in performance reviews).
• Use diagnostic and relationship-driven sales techniques to match clients with products that best suit their needs.
• Continually seek out new business opportunities through networking, events, and referrals.
• Advise clients on building balanced collections in line with company standards.
• Stay informed about market trends, product developments, and pricing to maintain expertise.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring follow-ups and post-sale engagement.
• Offer personalized guidance, identifying gaps and opportunities in clients' collections.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Store Operations
• Ensure the store operates during retail hours, maintaining a clean, organized environment that aligns with the brand.
• Follow company procedures for health, safety, and security to ensure smooth store operations.
Stock & Administration
• Conduct stock counts and adhere to stock policies and procedures.
• Safeguard both the store’s and clients' assets.
• Ensure accurate lead and sales information capture in the company CRM system.
Compliance & Standards
• Follow all company policies and applicable legislation, such as Consumer Protection Act, FICA, and more.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company standards and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
• Use downtime to research potential clients, follow up on leads, and handle administrative tasks.
• Actively identify and address any fraudulent or suspicious behavior.

Critical Success Factors:
• Consistently meet or exceed the R250,000 monthly sales target, with a focus on rare coin and medallion sales.
• Represent the company’s brand with professionalism in all sales and communications.
• Deliver exceptional client service, always going above and beyond.
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
