Job Description

Position: Financial Administrator
Company: General Heavy Marine (Pty)Ltd
Location: Boksburg, Johannesburg
We are looking for a reliable Financial Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial records, preparing and maintaining budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing transactions. The Financial Administrator will work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making, while ensuring that all financial practices align with regulatory standards and company policies
Duties And Responsibilities: (But not limited to)
• Send daily invoices and job cards to customers.
• Monthly rental invoices and statements to be sent to customers
• Daily and monthly payments to be checked and submitted on time.
• Check and collect all supplier invoices.
• Allocate debtors and creditors payments(weekly).
• Filing of all invoices and slips.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Import bank statements(daily)
• Capture SIV and manage petty cash.
• Any other tasks required from financial manager.
Requirements
• High school certificate or financial related qualification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a financial role, preferably within a business-services environment.
Skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
• Interpersonal Skills- ability to communicate with various departments.
• Adaptability – the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
