Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of instruments and control systems, including installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Installing, calibrating and maintaining measurement instruments like sensors, transmitters and gauges.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Implementing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- National Diploma or N3 in Instrumentation (BTech or Trade Test Certificate advantageous).
- 10+ years in instrumentation and control systems, proficient with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Schneider PLCs and experienced with Pulsar Level Control and Telemetry Systems.
- Proficient in instrumentation installation, calibration and troubleshooting, with a solid understanding of PLC and SCADA systems and familiarity with SCADA systems like Wonderware, WinCC or iFix.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license.
