Job Position: Quality Controller Construction
Ref: 4987
Location: Eastern Cape
Salary: Negotiable commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 12
• Minimum of 1 year technical experience
• Ability to work under pressure and able to multi-task
• Own reliable transport

Key Performance Areas
Coordinate and implement the Quality Management System processes:
• Implement, enforce, promote, enable and monitor compliance to the QMS and monitor overall health across all departments on projects
• Recommend work stoppages where sub-standard work is being carried out until such time as this is rectified
• Raising of NCR's as required and tracks trends
• Take part in the facilitation of corrective and preventative actions when required
• Discuss processes required to ensure the early identification of quality risks and escalate immediately
• Identify the need for internal training material on relevant processes to be workshopped
• Partake in the investigation of major/significant NCR's and customer complaints
• Communicate, implement and monitor events or champaign expectations and goals
• Assist with the updating of project quality start up documentation throughout the project Life cycle
• Conduct daily site inspection to ensure work is being carried out in accordance to the quality standards

Administrative and business reporting:
• Provide monthly and or weekly reports accurately and on time
• Attend meetings regularly with Contracts Manager / Site Agent to discuss quality concerns

Provide competitive and financial advantages through improved efficiencies and reduced costs:
• Understand client requirements and expectations for relevant projects
• Mitigate quality risk and realises opportunities
• Track penalties and contra charge costs

Customer / Stakeholder Management:
• Maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Personal conduct in accordance with brand and company standard

• Provide project team with purpose, vision and goals aligned to company strategy
