Pipe Fitter (PVT)

Installation of Piping Systems: Install, assemble, and secure pipes, fittings, valves, and related equipment to build piping systems according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems to ensure they function correctly. This includes replacing damaged sections of pipe, repairing leaks, and ensuring all fittings are secure.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensure the worksite is safe, secure, and meets all regulatory requirements.

System Testing: Conduct pressure tests, leak tests, and other relevant checks to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed or repaired piping systems.

Material Handling: Select and prepare appropriate materials for specific tasks. This includes cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipes to the required specifications.

Team Collaboration: Work with other team members, including welders, engineers, and supervisors, to coordinate installation and maintenance tasks.

Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to install or modify piping systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality work standards by inspecting and ensuring proper installation techniques and material usage.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered, reporting these to supervisors as necessary.

Preventive Maintenance: Participate in routine maintenance schedules, ensuring that systems are kept in optimal condition to avoid breakdowns.
