Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Manager to lead and manage our recruitment and talent acquisition processes, ensuring the organization attracts and retains high-caliber professionals at all levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in general recruitment, executive recruitment, and application screening, with a commitment to professional HR standards and practices.

Membership with at least one recognized professional body—such as the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP), Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), Institute of People Management (IPM), or South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM)—will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
Lead executive recruitment initiatives, ensuring a strategic and confidential approach to identifying top leadership talent.
Develop and implement effective screening methodologies to ensure only the most suitable candidates are shortlisted.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop role profiles.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labour legislation and organizational policies during recruitment and selection processes.
Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system and recruitment database.
Provide strategic HR advice and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
Foster strong employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice.
Prepare and present recruitment reports, analytics, and recommendations to senior management.
Liaise with external recruitment agencies and professional bodies when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years’ relevant experience in human resources, with specific expertise in:
General recruitment (all levels),
Executive recruitment, and
Application screening and shortlisting.
Proven experience in using applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications and Advantageous Criteria:

Valid and up-to-date membership with at least one of the following professional bodies:
South African Board of People Practices (SABPP),
Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA),
Institute of People Management (IPM), and/or
South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM).
