Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for all mine employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure timely submission of monthly reports.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage employee queries related to payroll, leave balances, and deductions.
• Prepare and submit statutory payments (PAYE, UIF, SDL) on time.
• Support the HR and Finance teams with payroll data for audits and financial reporting.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of payroll administration experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Sage, VIP, or similar).
• Familiarity with South African labor laws and payroll tax regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
