Job Description
Homefarm is looking for a dynamic, reliable, and personable individual to join our team in a Operations Assistant role. This is a junior position, ideal for someone with a background in Marketing, Communications, Logistics, or Operations Management who enjoys client-facing work and hands-on problem-solving.
You’ll be the face of Homefarm on the ground—delivering products, servicing systems, and nurturing long-term relationships with clients. There is scope for growth, with the potential to increase your responsibilities, hours, and pay over time.
What You’ll Do
• Visit and service client sites on a weekly basis
• Deliver Homefarm products (note: some items may be bulky/heavy)
• Troubleshoot basic issues on-site and escalate when needed
• Track all activities and updates in the client database
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure a great experience at every touchpoint
• Capture quality content (photos/videos) at client sites
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the Homefarm team
• Assist with scheduling and route planning to ensure timely and efficient visits
• Manage delivery operations and communications between various parties
Who You Are
• A confident, competent driver with your own car (petrol/car allowance provided)
• Presentable, friendly, and an excellent communicator
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using navigation apps like Google Maps and maintaining digital records
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying products during deliveries
• A practical thinker who can troubleshoot on-site
• Good with scheduling and time management
• Tech-savvy with a reliable device
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• 1 – 2 Years experience in a similar role
• Tertiary education required
