Job Description

The ideal candidate should meet the below requirements:
Computer programs used:
- Outlook
- Pastel Partner
- Quickbooks Online
- Datatim (Will get training In-house on this program)
- Excel (Advanced level of excel required) (NB!)

Duties list:
- Processing Interest and bank charges from bond, loan and HP statements
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, processing monthly depreciation (over 95 trucks, 135 trailers and other vehicles and equipment.
- Monthly reconciliation of the amortisation schedules for the vehicles. Processing interest and finances charges per vehicles.
- Creating and maintaining reports of the fixed assets and HPs
- Reconciling diesel statements to Quickbooks and the statement of purchase.
- Keeping track and processing of sales accruals
- Preforming VAT calculations and reconciling VAT for multiple companies
- Compiling and analysing monthly management accounts for multiple companies
- Assisting other departments with monthly working excel sheets
- Comparing, analysis, reconciling and reporting back on differences between the daily management report and the monthly management accounts
- Reconciling intercompany loan accounts, internal customers and internal suppliers
- Assisting auditors with information required from them to perform the monthly audit.
- Analysis physical stock count and comparing to Quickbooks stock figures. Investigating differences.
- Compiling information for the annual BEE audit
- Completing Stats SA questionnaires
- Being able to create formulated excel sheets to automate processes.
- Assisting the admin department if people are sick or during our busy season.
- Assisting the Financial manager, COO and CEO with all additional requirements

Qualification requirements:
- Bcom or a Btech in accounting
- 3 years’ experience in an accounting practice so they have an understanding how all financial departments work.
