Job Description

Job Title: Branch Assistant (Sales & Admin Support)
Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town
Salary: R10 000 + Commission
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We’re hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Branch Assistant to join a growing team at a busy sales branch in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a young, driven female candidate with strong administrative and customer service skills, who thrives in a sales-driven environment and is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Support & Admin: Handle walk-in clients, prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and provide excellent customer service in a creative, small-business market.
• Stock Management: Track and replenish stock, order for clients and the branch, and conduct regular stock takes.
• Marketing Support: Maintain the branch’s Facebook page, post creative content, and assist with basic design using tools like Canva or Illustrator (advantageous).
• Courier & Showroom Tasks: Assist with courier bookings and general showroom upkeep.
• System Use: Operate internal quoting and branch systems for daily reporting and task management (full training provided).
• General Admin: Support the branch manager with appointments, bookings, and daily operations.
• Cash & Supply Runs: Make occasional trips for banking and supplies (driver’s license required; own vehicle not mandatory).

Requirements:
• Female applicants only (client’s request).
• Age: Preferably early 20s to early 30s.
• Location: Must live within 15–20 km of Montague Gardens (ideal areas include Table View, Blouberg, Richwood, Burgundy Estate, Goodwood, Milnerton, Bothasig, Edgemead, Parklands).
• Education: Matric certificate.
• License: Valid driver’s license (essential).
• Experience:
o Strong administrative background.
o Sales experience or personality (advantageous).
o Creative flair or familiarity with design and social media platforms is a plus.
o Some technical understanding is helpful but not essential.

• Basic Salary: R10 000 per month
• Commission: Performance-based (R2 500 – R4 000+, uncapped depending on sales targets)
