Founding Technical Lead

About the role:
We're looking for a hands-on, mission-driven Founding Technical Lead to drive PikUniq’s technology, and journey with us as we grow from early traction to scale. You'll lead the design, build, and deployment of key features, help shape the technical roadmap, and play a vital role in our future as a potential CTO.

This is an opportunity to help build something impactful from the ground up — ideal for someone with startup grit, a love for solving complex problems, and a desire to make a difference, while helping people land job opportunities.

You will work directly with the Founder and take the lead on:
Improving the platform across Web, Mobile, and Admin dashboards | Implementing new tools and features, including AI tech | Review and improve infrastructure, analytics, and security | Shaping product direction and growing the future dev team.

Min requirements:
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5+ years experience as a full-stack or lead developer (startups/scale-ups ideal).
- Strong Flutter/Dart experience (or willing to learn fast).
- Backend knowledge (Firebase, Node.js, Django or similar).
- Solid front-end understanding (React, HTML, CSS, JS).
- Experience with AI/ML integration is a bonus.
- An understanding of security, scalability, and POPIA-aligned compliance.
- A track record of building products from MVP to market.
