Job Description
The Baker Helper is responsible for assisting the Baker in the day-to-day operations of a commercial kitchen. The Baker Helper is responsible for prepping ingredients, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and following the instructions of the Baker. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a commitment to safety and sanitation regulations. This position provides a great opportunity to gain experience in the baking industry.
Baker Helper Duties
Assist bakers in preparing dough and other ingredients
Weigh, mix and knead ingredients according to recipes
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
Decorate cakes and other pastries
Clean and maintain work areas
