Lift Technician

Responsibilities:
• To perform all duties assigned by Engineering Manager and Supervisor or their appointed representatives
• Ensure all lifts are maintained as per the OHS Act of South Africa as amended
• Assist in emergency situations
• Report and rectify any unsafe situations
• Keep a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Use courtesy and respect when dealing with management, staff, co-workers, and clients at all times

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Good communications skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, timely and able to work well with others
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work at excessive heights
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good working knowledge of current lift regulations
• Required tools
