Job Description

VACANT POSITION – GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER
Recreation Africa Leisure Industries (PTY) Ltd requires the services of a Group Financial Manager
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Group Financial Manager to join our team. As the Group Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Finance Department and all its functions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can handle complex financial operations and provide key insights to drive financial success within a Group of Companies. Your role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity and smooth operation within the Group.
Minimum Requirements:
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant – CA
• Minimum 5 years in a Senior Leadership position and experience in financial management.
• Previous experience of Payroll, Accounting Software and Cimso Software (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Google, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Email.
• Must be able to present complex financial information in a simplified format and concise manner
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, analysis and data bases.
• Strategic mindset to identify opportunities and mitigating risks.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present findings and management reports.
• Must have prepared provisional tax calculations and normal tax calculations.
• Experience in a group environment, inter-company loans, debtors and creditors.
• Strong business acumen must be able to link financial modelling/forecasting with the operational aspects of the business.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a structured manned while under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Must be able to lead and direct the Financial Team.
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills are essential.
• The ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well groomed to represent the brand.
• Must be a Team player, reliable, energetic and goal driven
• Mentor and manage a team of financial staff, ensuring continuous improvement and development of the team within the department.
