Job Title: Retail Area Manager
Location: East Rand
Salary: R45 000 – R50 000

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Area Manager to oversee the operations of six food and grocery retail stores. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for retail management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance of six retail stores within the East Rand area, ensuring they meet sales targets and operational standards.
Provide strong leadership to store managers and teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, integrity, and high performance.
Identify and solve operational challenges with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Ensure financial accuracy by reviewing budgets, monitoring expenses, and managing profit and loss statements for all locations.
Drive between store locations to conduct regular inspections, provide support, and ensure consistent operational excellence.
Take disciplinary action where necessary, addressing performance or conduct issues with fairness and professionalism.
Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance, financials, and operational updates to senior management.

A relevant qualification or solid understanding of Accounting or Financial management in retail.
Willing to work long hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and manage teams while holding them accountable for their responsibilities.
A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly between store locations.
